I've recently made over a dozen of my studio recordings available in high-definition, 48k/32bit, lossless, stereo-mixes.

I should mention that I've been playing guitar my entire adult life. I play every day and try to compose and record new instrumental music whenever I have the opportunity (and the inspiration). In addition to providing me with a medium for creative self expression, these recordings also serve as high-quality studio demos for my amplifiers.

In my studio (see below) I use very high-quality equipment (most of which is vintage vacuum-tube outboard gear that I built myself) to record these tracks, and I do my best to engineer and arrange them so as to provide an honest and transparent representation of what my amplifiers sound and perform like.

Toward that end, there is little, if any, processing on the guitars - occasionally just some reverb or ambience, and almost zero EQ. Moreover, I rarely use any pedals, so the guitar signal is almost always direct into the amp. Therefore, the electric guitar sounds you hear are unadulterated and true.

Every tune features one or more guitars played through a Speed Shop 5E3 Deluxe, only. No other amps are used. The amp build, guitars, and speaker used are noted in the track's meta comments, along with any tube substitutions I may have made for the recording.

Rondo EP1 - 2020-2023 Tracks were all recorded using my 1968 Gibson 335, while Rondo EP2 - 2024-2026 Tracks each feature my 2022 Custom Shop R0 Les Paul.

In closing, I hope that through making these high-definition tracks available for purchase, it will help to fund the ongoing research and development of my amplifier work here; while providing a way for folks (appreciative of my work) to participate in the Speed Shop 'project' through sponsorship.
